PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
I personally offer a range of services and evidence based therapeutic modalities for which I have received extensive, and ongoing, training and supervision. The type of therapy we agree to use will be based on NICE recommended treatment guidelines but will also be guided by my professional experience, or your personal preference, where there are no contra-indications to a therapy being used.
I am trained to integrate therapies and to use my professional judgement when deciding on the therapeutic modality or treatment plan that might best be suited for you. Where I feel an associate of Rainbow Psychological Services Ltd is better suited to work with you then we can discuss that in detail so you can make an informed choice to get the best possible service and outcome.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
When you initially come to therapy with me, we would undertake a comprehensive assessment to best understand your current problems, your life history and how the two could be intertwined. This assessment can take between one and four sessions. By ensuring we have an in-depth and shared understanding of what is going on for you, we can then decide together what you would hope to gain from coming to therapy and then how we can work towards this. It is important to note that for some people this consultation assessment is enough to help make sense of the situation. For others a short, or longer term therapeutic solution might be discussed. I will always agree treatment with you. If you have been referred or are using an insurance provider the number of sessions might be negotiated with the third party.

You will be offered a 'safe', confidential and non-judgemental environment to explore your problems and work towards attaining your 'life-worth-living' goals.

COUPLES / RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
The connections and relationships we form in life shape the person we are, and the life that we have. The romantic encounters we have are often the most important relationships to us. And yet these intimate relationships seldom run completely smoothly and each passing year, the stresses and strains of life can add complexities to our connections.

The aims of couples / relationship therapy is usually to improve communication, work towards resolving your issues and where possible reconnecting.
